Nevis

These were taken this past week at Paradiso at Nevis. This is the same developer that wants to open Villa Paradiso at Smugglers Cove!! I guess so it can look like this as well.

1.. The entrance sign is falling apart.

2.. One of the villa's contraction has been halted. I know there were more to be built, but it looks as though they won't be.

3.. From what I have been told, there is only one villa that is active - the rest are vacant.

4.. The gardening is being kept up.

5.. There is no activity on the beach - the bar is closed and the water toys are deflated.

6.. Notice the ghaut from the main road as it enters the property, and again as it empties into the sea. (2 different photos)

7.. Notice the photo with the cemetery on the left of the property. The Villa Paradisio owner refused access to the church for funerals. This was the churches traditional access for years, and the only way they could get a backhoe in to dig the graves. The owner put up a wall - even the Premier could not get him to take the wall down. After he left, the church took it down.
